An interface for communicating back to the plants will use a soft, touch sensitive sculpture that translates the audiences interaction to signals similar to the signals the plants are producing. The electrodes recieving the signals are placed such that there will be an immediate sound produced, and a slower change in sound from the response of the plants to the signal.

The touch-sensitive interface is being built with electrically conducting fabric and touch-sensitive rubber. And it sends its signals via an arduino board directly to electrodes placed such that the current passing between them will also pass the electrodes measuring the plants activity.
